Biology's part in knife, gun and other crime

Someone has posted a great piece of research on this knife crime blog about scientific / biological evidence showing how crime is likely driven by factors such as testosterone levels, low activity variant of MAO-A and cognitive ability. The gang link between IQ and joining gangs is notable and worth thinking about how to solve. Let me know what you think - this type of stuff can be quite controversial, I appreciate.
